This week's word is Train.

For more participants visit Barb at Heads or Tails Headquarters.

Each year at the peak of the fall foliage, the New River Train in West Virginia offers a day long train excursion through the mountains for folks to enjoy the fall scenery. This trip is only available the last two weekends in October. The cost ranges from $125 to $350 per person, but is well worth the expense. West Virginia is most beautiful in the fall when mother nature paints our mountains with vibrant colors. No wonder this is my favorite time of year.

I have always wanted to do a fall foliage ... something! I had thought at some point to do a cruise up to Maine ending during Lobsterfest. But this looks beautiful too!!! Great photos!

Sounds beautiful. We live close to the NC mountains, and it's great to drive up there and see the leaves. It would be even better if they Had a train.
Happy Tuesday!

It sounds like a wonderful journey - if the pics are anything to go by, it must be well worth the money. Thanks for visiting me. Happy Tuesday!

I won't be going on the train this year. You need to make reservations a year in advance, and I never know what I'll being this time next year.

Oh, just beautiful! My brother in law would do anything to take a ride in that train! He loves trains!

I love it too. It kind of throws me back in time of the steam trains. Would be wonderful to experience.

Love the picture of the train with the steam coming out.

The railroad tracks reminded me of walking on some old tracks where my mother was born, for some reason we always got a kick out of jumping from board to board.

I've always wanted to go on this train. I was under the impression though that it wasn't being run anymore. I've seen the new river gorge though and it's beautiful any time of year.
