Life is good!!!! I've been doing a happy dance after learning my son will be staying in WV. He accepted a different job in the state, so he will not be moving to OK. He will still have to move, but he'll only be 2 1/2 hours away. I can live with that.

This week I got the last of my stitches removed and learned I am cancer free!!! God is good!!

I've started making a quilt for my daughter. I was hoping to get it completed before I go visit her next month. Don't think it going to happen! I'm doing the pinwheel pattern and trust me......it will be the last quilt I make with all triangles. I'm going to try the log cabin next.

The weather this week has been unbelievable. Yesterday it rained most of the day, with occasional spurts of hail, then the sun would come out with a beautiful blue sky. Then it would start all over again. Very strange. We will be having a very warm, if not hot, weekend. I'm planning on buying my bedding plants this weekend and possibly getting a few planted.

Wishing you all a very pleasant weekend.

Hi Linda,

I'm so glad to hear all your good news! Great occassion for a happy dance!

Our weather has been gorgeous, and we are to have summery temperatures starting tomorrow. I bought bedding plants, tomato plants and zucchini, cucmber and green bean seeds, yesterday, so will be out getting my small garden planted. Got to get those tomato plants in, so I can have my first ripe tomatoes by the 4th of July!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs,

Renie

HI Linda, I haven't been around for a long time, but I was so happy to read that you are cancer free!!! That is such good news!!!! I am also glad that your son does not have to move out of state. I wish my children were close home but they are very far away.

Thank you so much for your prayers and comments to me. God brought me through a very serious situation and I praise him for it.

Hope you enjoy the lovely weather.
Blessings,
Cheryl

Great news on the final cancer free report and I'm glad to hear your son will remain a little closer to home. I think my son will be headed back my way later this summer as it looks like he will be laid off as part of a cut back. That's a mixed blessing. I'm hoping he will be able to finish school if that happens. Even so, I'm fairly certain he will eventually have to leave again for work whether he gets called back or finds a new job after school.

You're fortunate your son will be close by. I'm in SC; son in DC, one daughter in Nashville, another in Denver.
