Yard Work

The past couple days we have had a gardener working on our beds. As you can see from the first two pictures, the weeds had taken over and the shrubs were out of control. The end of May we had all the weeds removed and I trimmed the scrubs. We were planning on applying new mulch, but then the temperatures sored. The heat bothers me, so we kept putting off spreading the mulch, and this is what happened. Instead of us getting out there and weeding again, hubby hired a gardener to do the work for us. It took him two days to complete.

Here's the finished project. It actually looks better in person than it does in these photos. You can enlarge the photo's to see how bad it looked before.

Thanks for reading

Hi Linda,

The gadener did a great job! I use a lot of mulch, it not only keeps the weeds down, it helps to keep the soil cooler from the hot sun. My gardener does a great job as well, he is my son Greg! :-) Beautiful house! Thanks for sharing.

Have a great holiday weekend.

Your house is beautiful, Linda. Ed does all our yard work, but I don't know how much longer he will be able to do it.
