Page 123 Meme

Renee` at Two Peas in Pod has tagged me with wonderful book meme. Here’s the guidelines:

1. Pick up the book nearest you.
2. Turn to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Type and post the next three sentences after the fifth one.
5. Tag five people.

I haven't been to the library for weeks, so I just grabbed the first book off my shelf. Renee`, I must thank you for asking me to do this meme. I had forgotten about this book. I can't remember where it came from but I'm going to read it right away. Here's the passage.

The wind had died, and already she could feel the heat of the day rebuilding, steam forming on the ground. His heart thumped steadily under her ear, his chest rose and fell with cadence of his breathing, and the warm musky odor of his body mingled with the faint, fresh, lemony fragrance of his aftershave. He smelled delicious, she thought dimly, just the way a man should smell.

The book is "Kill and Tell" by Linda Howard.

Now I will tag anyone on my blogroll or who comes to visit. Just let me know and I'll come and read your post.

okay page 123 of the book I am reading:
"Can you threaten Adonai?" His laughter rumbled. "You have been warned," the agent insisted.
"Stop right there."

This is from the book I have laying right here that I just bought at our Christian book store...it is called "The Third Millennium"
