Friday's Feast

Disclaimer: I'm still working on getting rid of the drugs from my system from yesterday's surgical procedure; therefore, I can not be held responsible for the following comments. BTW...everything is OK!!!!

Appetizer
Who is the easiest person for you to talk to?
Besides myself? I'd say my friend Jill, because she knows me better than anyone, does not judge me, knows where I'm coming from, completely understands me, what else can I say.

Soup
If you could live in any ancient city during the height of the quality of its society and culture, which one would you choose?
In Egypt during the construction of the pyramids. While the workers worked I would dance and sing "Walk Like An Egyptian".

Salad
What is the most exciting event you’ve ever witnessed?
What really got my heart pumping was watching Elvis come out on stage in the mid 70's.

Main Course
If you were a celebrity, what would you do for a publicity stunt?
I'm at a loss for words.....really.

Dessert
What do you consider the ideal age to have a first child?
Does this mean for the man or the woman?? I was in my early 20's when I had my kids which gave me the opportunity to grow up with them. Now women are waiting until their 30's and 40's. I can't imagine being 50 and attending PTA. But to answer the question...For women I would say 20's into the early 30's and for men, any age over 20.

Just wanted to answer your question re: stamping. It's rubber stamping/cardmaking. Have fun with your scrapping!

I have been such an "old" mother in 73 ! I was 30 and that was very late at that time. But I wanted it this way I wasn't mature before to have a child I wanted to have fun and no nappies ! I think it's a question of character. Most of the young women today want first to finish their studies, work get married and enjoy life at two before they think about babies. But it was fun to have my son at 30 I enjoy it still today and he never had the feeling he had an "old" mother otherwise he wouldn't have taken me out with his friends when he was in his 20 !

You are so special. Thanks for the kind words. We've been buds for a lot of years and many more to come.
YOU couldn't think of a publicity stunt???? Those drugs must have been stronger than we thought.

Love your feast! And your new template is fantastic (Sanni?)!!!
My publicity stunt would be to read a book in public! I can't imagine any of the current nitwits in Hollywood doing that!
Glad you're doing well!!!

Akelamalu and Sandy,
Yes, I really saw Elvis in person!! He was in Charleston, WV in the early 70's, and a few girlfriends and I went to see his show. The excitement and anticipation before he came on stage was like nothing I had ever experienced. I also had tickets to his show the year he died. He was scheduled to be here in the fall.
