In my last post I said my doctor told me to try to reduce my stress. And, a few posts back I talked about "When It Rains It Pours". Let me tell you it is still raining and my stress in still pouring.
On Saturday my daughter was released from the hospital. Her doctor wanted to send the IV home with her, but she said no. That afternoon she became more ill. Talking with her this morning I encouraged her to call her doctor. I told her she cannot go for days without food and liquids, and without nourishment she could hurt her organs. Maybe that was a little too direct, but I felt she needed a little nudge. She has been so determined not to have the IV and zofran pump at home. She has an appointment tomorrow morning.
As for me. Saturday evening I was on my way to the grocery store to pick up a few supplies. I had pulled out of my housing development and had gone only to the next development that is contiguous to mine, when a young boy ran a stop sign and crashed into my passenger's side doors. No one was hurt!!!! I could see him approaching his stop sign, but by the time I arrived in front of him he pulled out, I swerved into the on coming lane to try to miss him, but he still plowed into me. I spent this entire day talking with insurance companies and going to the police department to pick up a copy of the report. My insurance company called me about 10:00 a.m. this morning and asked if he could come here to evaluate the damages. What service!!! He then suggested I should contact the boy's insurance company because sometimes the other party will not report the accident to their insurance company. When I reached his insurance company I learned he had not reported the accident. They took all the information and then called him. I will be getting my car repaired in a couple weeks.
Just about an hour ago my daughter called and asked if I could come down before Sunday. My husband's family is here from Florida for a family reunion on Saturday. My husband's son and his family wants to get together with my son and his girlfriend and daughter. We are going to do that tomorrow then I will leave for Charlotte first thing Wednesday morning. I'm afraid the doctor will want to put her back in the hospital.
Since I'll be out of town for several days, this will be my last post until I return. See you all in a week or so.
