CC Gets a Haircut

As you recall, I got a haircut on Tuesday. Today was CC's turn. She is a mutt, but we couldn't lover her more. Her Mom was a Chinese Crested Hairless and her Dad a traveling salesman. The Chinese Crested with hair are called the Powderpuff. I believe her Dad had some poodle in him because she gets curly when her coat get long and she gets matted very quickly. She gets a haircut about every 6 weeks. As you can tell from the garbage can outside it's garbage day.

CC loves looking out the window in the living room, so I moved the ottoman in front of the window to give her a nice place to lay. This is where she keeps watch and monitors all movement outside. She is very quick to let us know if anyone is approaching the house. Of course, when anyone comes in she is all over them with kisses. She has never met a stranger. All the neighbors wave at her as they walk by. I must say she is wonderful with the grandbabies. When they are here, Campbell is trying to ride her, while Caison, the baby is pulling her ears. She tolerates so much. When CC was a pup I would pull on her ears and tail so she would get use to that type of behavior, knowing the babies would poke at her. She never snaps, but I can tell when she has had enough. CC also has allergies. You can tell by the discoloring around her mouth. We give her a baby Benadryl just about everyday.

She has such a lovely face. What does she think of her hair cuts?

Hope yours is settled in to your liking now. Whenever I go to the hairdressers and afterwards people comment, I say, 'It'll be better when I've mussed it up a bit.'

What a doll! She's adorable!!! And her own "room with a view." I love it...
Thanks for visiting. I meant to let you know when I left my remark about the futility of hair cuts, that I'm going to beat you to the big 6-0. I'll be sixty in June. It sounds so old. Physically, it's catching up to me but mentally, uh uh. After all, 50 is the "new" 60...

My friend Mary left this comment, but it didn't get published. The joys of Blogger.

I'll be visiting my own Little Chop Shop of Horrors over the weekend. Since I have short hair, I need to get a haircut every four weeks. It's amazing how quickly short hair can get very sloppy looking!
