Grandchildren

Last night I prepared my Thursday Thirteen with the letter U and forgot to post it. I'll post it next Thursday.

My daughter sent me new pictures of the kids last night and I have to share a few with you. This first one is taken in their new back yard. Caramia (the baby) is turning into a little porker!!

Here they are dressed up for Halloween.

I had to include a close-up of sweet Caramia.

The Saturday after Halloween was the Fall Festival at Carson and Campbell's school. As soon as they arrived Campbell saw one of his buddies and wanted to go play with him on the playground. Shortly, one of the teachers came running with Campbell in her arms. Blood was pouring out of his head. The teachers told Nicole and Bret they would watch the kids so they could rush Campbell to the ER.

Campbell fell against a fence and cut his head so deep you could see his skull. He never shed a tear. He ended up getting 7 staples in his head. Nicole wanted to keep him home from school that following Monday, but Campbell wanted to go so he could show off the staples. He was so proud!!!

Right before Caramia was born Carson fell off a slide at school and had a cracked and a concussion. God he is doing just fine!!! These boys certainly have hard heads.

I gather you must starting to feel a wee bit better now...

Wonderful posts here, I just spent the first 20 minutes reading your posts, I had to do some catching up since the last time I dropped on by a couple or so days ago.

Ouch! I bet that had hurt when your grandsons wacked thier heads.
Nice looking children for sure.

What cuties!! Little Caramia is growing so fast! Boys will be boys when it comes to accidents! Glad he is ok, he is such a trooper!

Hi Linda,
Your grandchildren are so cute, especially the little one. Glad your grandson's injury wasn't any more serious. My first grandaughter was accident prone...and still is. She will be 16 in January. She goes to Hurricane High School. They grow up so fast. I'll bet you are looking forward to the one on the way, just as I am my great grandbaby on the way. Glad you're feeling better.

They are such *beautiful* children! That must have been an awfully painful head wound, he's a brave little chap isn't he! I don't think I have the constitution to be a mother to sons LOL.

Sometimes it’s good to hold something back for later and go with another topic impulsively. I loved all the photos of your grandchildren … what a cute bunch of Halloween costumes for these adorable kids. Yup … kids somehow manage to weather such things. I’m glad Carson’s okay ;--)
Hugs and blessings,

Hi Linda,

Your grandchildren are beautiful! Caramia looks adorable in her costume. And my goodness, I am so glad Carson is OK. Boys do get into more mishaps than girls. My two sons sure did!

Since your sense of humor seems to be in fine shape, I hope it means that you are feeling much better. :-)

Hugs,

Renie

I remember when Carson fell. We all were so worried about him and prayed for him then. He must be showing everyone how brave he is!!
That Caramia is so cute. I hope that I spelled her name correctly because I think it is such a great name. Wish I had thought of it years ago.
She might be "clunky" now but she is young and she will loose it all..Unlike myself...smile..

What cute grands. I remember when he was injured....poor boy...i guess 7 staples in his head would make him popular at show and tell.
