Giveaway

Last month was my two year anniversary for blogging. It has taken me this long to decide what I wanted to give away as part of this celebration. Soon I began meeting some of the most wonderful people from all over the world. Now I feel as if all of you are my friends and I look forward to reading your blogs on a regular basis. In order to give back to you, I will be giving away the following items on October 8th. Just leave me a comment if you want to be included in the giveaway.

First is a tote I picked up at the Pumpkin Festival yesterday. We all use totes, and this one is so cute and different from your typical tote. The canvas is very soft, roomy and it has wide straps making it comfortable to carry. It also has an inside zipper pocket. It will be great to carry your books from the library.

Here is a close up of the flap with the wording "West Virginia Pumpkin Festival". My friend Jill and I went to the festival and we were lucky to get the last 2 totes. She said, "I have to have that tote". Well, she has hers and this one is for you.

Since I think this will make a great book bag the next item is a book "The Red Room" by Nicci French. If you like English mysteries/thrillers you will enjoy this book.
It's been a few years since I read this book so I can't remember a lot of the details. Basically its a psychological thriller whose leading lady Kit, is suffering from the aftermath of a brutal attack by Michael Doll. Kit is a crime psychologist and after her recovery is asked to help the police with the investigation of the murder of a homeless girl. The detectives believe Doll is behind the murder, but Kit doesn't believe it's an open and close case. I couldn't put the book down and found myself up late every night reading this suspenseful novel.

You will be getting both the bag and the book. You can double click on the pictures for a larger view.

Good Luck!!!!

Thanks for stopping by Linda... I've just been in a blogging slump lately and ended up taking an unplanned break.

Sounds like you had a great time at the Pumpkin Festival! I can only imagine how beautiful fall is in West Virginia! I used to take the drive from Harrisburg Pa down 81 to Virginia to visit friends and the drive was breath taking in the fall!

Hope you're having a wonderful week!
