This week's Heads or Tails theme is HEADS - Direction

The word direction reminds me of one of the most famous signs showing the direction to the hometowns of the staff of the
M*A*S*H (Mobile Army Surgical Hospital) unit in the television show set in Korea during the 1950's.

After the last filming of M*A*S*H, the signpost was donated to the Smithsonian by 20th Century Fox and was on display with other M*A*S*H props and memorabilia. Currently, the signpost is part of the National Museum of American History.

Go here for more HoT participants.

Now that is a neat choice for today. I don't know why I didn't think of the sign post that looks like that on one of our skiing mountains!! But this is cool.

Hehe I just posted something about M*A*S*H a couple days ago. And today I was just telling my friend to use that same sign on her HoT direction post. She chose a different picture though. ;-)

Oh, wow! My post is very similar to yours... in fact, my friend Erica over at momsjournal.com suggested I find a pic of the M*A*S*H sign instead of the one I posted. But if you see her blog and read of her family's obsession with M*A*S*H, you'd understand. I'm very happy with my choice. I'll send Erica over here so she can get her fix.

Jersey is right - I still love M*A*S*H... it´s broadcasted late at night, that´s why I miss it sometimes.

Happy Tuesday, Linda!

I never really watched that TV show, but that's a neat sign. Never seen that either. Oh where have I been? Living under a rock perhaps, lol. Anyway, nice choice for today's HoT.

We watch M.A.S.H. just about every day. In fact, we just finished watching an episode right before I read this post :-)

There are several spots here in Cape Town on of the mountains where people have put up similar signs.

Very cool.
