Friday's Feast

Appetizer

What does the color dark green make you think of?

The first house that we built I put Olive Green carpet throughout. After all it was the 70's. When I sold that house 5 years ago, the original carpet was still in two of the bedrooms. The carpet was wool and would not wear out. I am just getting to the point of decorating with green again, but not Olive Green.

Soup

How many cousins do you have?

Probably 500,000 LOL. Mom and Daddy came from very large families, and their brothers and sisters had many children. I don't know all my first cousins because I was one of the youngest. I only know a handful of my second cousins, and even fewer third cousins. I only have one cousin that I talk with regularly. She keeps me posted with all the family gossip from Mom's side of the family. Who knows, you may be one of my cousins!!

**This is a note for my soup. One of my first cousins is George King, former basketball coach at Purdue. I can't remember meeting him, but he would visit Daddy. After all, Daddy was his uncle.

Salad

On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being highest, how honest are you?

10 - My parent taught me a person is only as good as their word. Once you are dishonest, then no one will ever trust you again,. I can't stand people who lie. I taught my own children the same morals and they too cannot tolerate anyone who is dishonest.

Main Course

Name something that is truly free.

Just look around, the beauty of this world.

Dessert

Using the letters in the word SPRING, write a sentence.

Sally Price ran into Niles Granger.

Spring pansies rejoice in neat gardens.

LOL! Well, if you have THAT many, we MUST be related somehow! Hahaha! I only have 4 cousins that I know. I have more on my father's side - but I have NO IDEA who they are or how many of them exist! You might BE one!

Good post, Linda. I agree with you about people who lie. I definitely do not like dishonest people.

Nice feast.

We feel the same about dishonesty too.
I also react to dishonesty, and that's not always appreciated. Especially not in schools.

You can find my feast at:

Laane on the World

Have a great weekend.
