WVU Wins Fiesta Bowl

Last night's victory over Oklahoma (48 - 28) earned WVU the Fiesta Bowl Championship. After losing their last game to Pitt (the backyard brawl) and their chance at the National Championship and the untimely departure of former coach Rodriguez, who bolted to Michigan for dollars, there was concern how the Mountaineers would perform in last nights game. It just goes to show just how good the Mountaineers really are. As one reporter put it "WVU could have won against any team last night".

Bill Stewart, Interim Head Coach was officially named Head Coach for WVU this morning. Not knowing much about Stewart, I watched the interview on TV. He was born and breed in West Virginia and proudly talks about his heritage. He’s an excellent model of the people of West Virginia. I’ve lived in different states and I can honestly say the support and devotion to the Mountaineers is unlike anything I have ever seen.

Congratulations Mountaineers!!!!

Let's Gooooo Mountaineers
