I just got off the phone with my daughter and she gave me some wonderful new. I'm going to be a Maw Maw again in February. This family picture was taken last year.
I'm struggling with mixed feelings. Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled about the baby. Through each of Nicole's pregnancies she became extremely ill. She is already on morning sickness medications and they are not working. She is also becoming dehydrated. With each pregnancy she was bedridden for 20 or more weeks during which time she had a medication pump in her leg, an IV in her arm and home health workers coming every other day. She told me she has an appointment this afternoon with a hypnotist to see if this therapy will help with her sickness. Her doctor told her she should start feeling better by tomorrow if this works.
If I didn't have my medical tests coming up next week, I would go be with her. She is in Charlotte and I'm in West Virginia. It is so hard having a child sick and so far away. One comforting thought is her husband Bret, works from home. At least he can tend to her during the day in an emergency.
Please keep her in your prayers.

Congratulations!! I'll be keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
What a wonderful surprise.
BTW- I'm tagging you for a "My Four Fav's" meme. Stop by my blog to find out more abot it.
What a lovely family! With her history, I'm surprised she'd get pregnant again, but I'm sure the Lord will keep his hand on both of them.
It's good that your son is there to help her.
~~~Blessings~~~
I will be glad to add your daughter Nicole to my prayer list. I have you down for your tests next week. We sure want a good report! Please keep us updated on you and her!
Gracie, It's easy to forget how sick you are when its all over. They have been trying for several months. She hopes to have a sister for Caison. She assures me there will not be 5.
Grams. Thanks for adding Nicole and me to your prayers. I will post any results I learn.
Hi Linda, I'm a friend of Floozie's , just wanted you to know that I will be praying for your daughter also. We just got to meet our first grandchild. They live in Canada and we live in Virginia so I know about the distance thing.
