Thinking Blogger Award

I received a wonderful surprise from Anni, otherwise known as Hootin' Annie. She chose my blog as one of her five choices for the "Thinking Blogger Award." I never thought as myself as a "thinking" blogger before because my stuff goes up with thoughts off the top of my head. Then I'm scrambling with spell check and reading to make sure the stuff makes sense. I am so honored to receive this award. Thanks again Annie.

The second part of this award is to "THINK" of five other blogs to present the Thinking Blogger Award upon. So many blogs I read already have been honored with this award, but I think you will agree with my choices.

1. Mary, over at Snit n’ Knit has a comedic approach to knitting with her stories that really knock my socks off. She posts lots of pictures showing her progress or lack of ;)

I first met Mary about 10 years ago-- oh my, has it been that long? -- in hyperspace. We began emailing and have become friends through the internet. We have not yet met, but have talked about it a lot. Mary, like me, is new to blogging and probably doesn’t think of herself as a thinker, but she definitely is in order to knit one purl two or was that knit two, purl one?
Be sure to stop by and say hi.

2. I just found Olive last week and she has become one of my must read BLOBs (that is not a typo – you’ll find out on your visit to Life of Riley). Ollie, as she called, is a 107 year young Aussie lady who is documenting her memorable life with the help of her friend Mike. If anyone deserved a Thinking Blogger award its Ollie.

With only 12 posts, this is probably one of the most popular blogs on the internet. This lady has certainly made me think about my own life and has given me such a new and fulfilling outlook on my future. Thank you Ollie.

3. Bev, over at Blessed Beyond Measure, is a happy empty nester with three children and four grandchildren. Bev shares stories of her daily life, her family and reflects on years past. A very well written positive blog you won’t want to miss.

4. Blog surfing wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Flip Flop Floozie, aka Sandy. There was no thinking why I chose this blog. Sandy and I seem to have so much in common. Her blog clearly reflects her love of family, cats and life. Sandy is a deep thinker and a great place to visit.

5. Echoes of Grace. This was a no-thinker. Gracie and I will be celebrating a common exciting event this year. It has to do with our birthdays. I’ll let you figure it out. Gracie is a seasoned blogger who shares her appreciation of our troops, her love of family and her Shih tzu, Katie. She has an incredible sense of humor and is able to roll with the punches that life throws at her. I’m never disappointed when I visit her.

I am so very pleased to be able to present the following
